Ballygowan
The Ballygowan Company was founded by Geoff Read in 1981. In 1993 Cantrell and Cochrane Group, one of Ireland's largest drinks companies bought Ballygowan. In 1991, Ballygowan complete its purpose built 5200 square foot bottling and warehousing plant at Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. More than 60 million litres of natural water are distributed from the plant each year. A total of 73 million bottles are produced every year.
